Most popular figures in finance: Crypto personalities Sam Bankman-Fried, CEO of crypto exchange FTX, Michael Saylor, CEO of MicroStrategy and Elon Musk, entrepreneur and crypto advocate have hit the top of the list for preferred people to watch for money advice.

This is according to GOBankingRates and their list of the Top 100 Money Experts.

In fact, 80% of people surveyed said they would look to popular moguls or influencers when it came to money advice.

Other people outside of the crypto industry also seen as good for advice are:

Carl Icahn, founder of Icahn Enterprises

David Tepper, founder and president of Appaloosa Management

James Gorman, chief executive officer of Morgan Stanley

Jamie Dimon, chief executive officer of JPMorgan Chase

Larry Fink, chief executive officer of BlackRock

Lloyd Blankfein, senior chairman of Goldman Sachs

Stephen Schwarzman, CEO of the Blackstone Group

Warren Buffett, CEO of Berkshire Hathaway
