Ricardo Grados Becomes Finalto’s Head of LATAM e-FX Liquidity

Finalto has promoted Ricardo Grados as the company’s Head of e-FX Liquidity for the Latin American markets, according to a LinkedIn update. He is based in Lima, Peru.

His promotion came after the ownership of Finalto (formerly TradeTech) was transferred to Hong Kong-based Gopher Investments from Playtech. The acquisition deal was sealed for a cash consideration of $250 million.

An Impressive Background

Grados joined Finalto earlier this year from FXDD, where he was a part of the Institutional FX/Equities Sales division for a year and five months. He is an industry expert with more than 17 years of experience.

“I am driven, detailed oriented, easy going, FX Trader since 2010, 17 years financial experienced professional, including Hedge Funds, Investment Banks, Funds Administration, FX Broker/Dealer and FX Trading,” Grados describes himself on Linkedin.

Over his long career, Grados worked with several brokerages, helping them in growing their LatAm operations. Also, he joined Infinox in October 2018 as the Head of FX Sales and Trading for LatAm, only to part from the company after a year.

On top of that, he worked for Tradeview, another forex and CFDs broker. There, he was the Forex VP of Sales and Trading for around two-and-a-half years. Prior to joining Tradeview in 2016, Grados worked as the Head of Business Development and FX Trading at Monaco Private Capital Corp.

He has been deeply involved in the derivatives industry since 2005 when he started his career. His years in the industry include senior positions at Soros Fund Management (Quantum), Barclays Capital Systems and New York-based BBVA Securities.
